Chertov Evgeny Dmitrievich

Born on August 4, 1952 in the village of Novosilskoye, Semiluksky District, Voronezh Region.
In 1974 he graduated from the Voronezh Technological Institute (qualification «mechanical engineer»).
He began his career in 1973 as a senior technician at the Voronezh Institute of Technology.
In 1976-1979 — studied at graduate school.
In 1979-1988 — Assistant, Associate Professor of the Department of «Theory of Mechanisms, Parts of Machines and Lifting and Transport Devices» of the Voronezh Institute of Technology.
In 1985-1988 — Dean of the Correspondence Department of the Voronezh Technological Institute.

In 1988-1991 — Vice-Rector for Correspondence and Evening Education of the Voronezh Institute of Technology.

In 1991-2008 — Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Voronezh Institute of Technology.

In 2008-2019 — Rector of FSBEI HE «Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies.

From 2013 to the present — Editor-in-chief of the journal «Technologies of the food and processing industry of the agro-industrial complex-healthy food products.»

From 2015-2020 — Deputy of the Voronezh Regional Duma of the VI convocation, Chairman of the Committee on Education and Youth Policy.

From 2012 to the present — Chairman of the Board of the Association of the Technological Platform «Technologies of the food and processing industry of the agro-industrial complex — healthy food products.»

From 2019 to the present — Advisor to the Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies.»

He was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree, the sectoral award «Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation,» the honorary sign of the government of the Voronezh region «Gratitude from the land of Voronezh.»
